I keep on promising I will be more active on my blog. So as a challenge to myself I decided to run themes on different days.
And Mondays will now be Scottish landscape days, the highlands, the lowlands, the beach, the woods I have thousands of photographs of Scotland so decided to share them here. Hope you like
Here is the first, the waterfall at Glen Park in Paisley. A magical little place at the end of quite a steep walk (my calves are still hurting)
I couldnt make a video any better than this one for this exercise.
This is a fun easy trick to help you line your dog up at the start of an agility run. Sometimes dogs get a little unhappy if you pull and push them into position and a heel position or infront of you position to line the dogs up without pushing them although is better isnt easy to always see what the dog is seeing from where you leave them.
This trick is about teaching your dog to go round between your legs and then sit/down/stand (whatever you use at the start line)
It means they are looking in the exact same way as you are so you can line them up perfectly
Take your time building up to stepping away from the dog, make it a very fun and rewarding position to be in and your dog will love their start lines.
The weather the past few days has been almost better than our summer! I have taken advantage of that with the dogs - here are a few snaps of the fuzzies in the sunshine

I know most of the UK are a little fed up with the snow but I know people from all over the world pop in here (and I am totaly amazed how many people drop in and say hello to my pair of nutty dogs - thankyou all!)
Thought I would share some more snow walks with you all
Not easy to get nice calm photographs of my pair when all the want to do is run and play
But it is amazing what you can do with a pocket full of sausages and a tennis ball
I know the snow is disrupting peoples lives. When its a total whiteout with the wind howling I hate the snow (or sky puke as C says) But when you get days like this then its makes up for it

No work for me as it has been snowing since last night.
Means the pups get some nice loooooong walks in the snow
Not sure but it might be Mias 1st ever snow and it is deff the most Ben has ever seen.
Mia had great fun eating snowballs and having major zoomies
Ben has decided to become a snowplough snuffling holes in the snow.
Think the pups had fun, well they have been sleeping most of the day since we got in!
Mia has had a fairly good week. Her recal is getting good and we were in a different park with lots of dogs and she was pretty calm unless they came right up close.
Her stays are getting great too which makes getting fotos of them together much easier. She even sat and waited while I got Ben, set up the camera and took a couple of fotos.
Bens stays are too good too
I put him in a sit, then went to do something with Mia, heard a wee polite 'woof' I had forgot to relese him and he was still sitting there
Poor boy - he got lots of treats for being so good
really interesting to look at some of the pawprints in the snow. The little prints are Mia and Bens prints - I wonder what the big ones were made by??!?!
