Horror Kokeshi - needle felted

I had the idea for this little guy a long long time ago. I made a whole selection of Horror Kokeshi but I never really promod them a whole lot - so today I took them for a little photoshoot in the lovely Autumn sun and I am planning to spend my day off editing and listing as many of these wee guys as I can, the first is Jack. He has strong magnets in his head and neck which means he has interchangeable heads

The fuzzies are taking over the madhouse!

Last week the horrible happened. My computer hard drive died along with everything from the past 3 years.

All them images of my fuzzies! Thankfully most of my real life fotos are saved due to me sharing them on photobucket and facebook

 A very good lesson to me to back up things.









So now I am sorting through my drawers of fuzzies trying to figure out which ones I need a new photoshoot for
(not the best now we are heading for winter and the light is rubbish for photographs)








Pulling out everything I see just how many fuzzies I have made in the past 5 years!
Many have gone to loving homes all over the world but I also have quite a lot still with me

They really need a home somewhere where they can see the light of day





and I really need less clutter in my house

So I have decided to have the biggest sale I have ever had!!!

 Many of these items have been in my shop for a while and have had some amazing views, likes and been in many treasuries, this is why I have been resistant to selling them off cheep, but now is the time!! Lots of there are way less than 1/2 price

Jacks Gone

I never thought I would be a bit sad with a sale

But Jack Skellingtone has sold!!

I really liked the wee chap, he turned out so well, and also he was the most viewed and hearted item in my shop

I suppose it was only a matter of time before he went.

am I daft or do the rest of you get a bit sad when you sell something??

Still I really needed the sale, the driving school has been a little slow lately and I got up this morning to a totaly flat tyre

why is it that I can never get a puncture in an area where it can be fixed and I always need a new tyre??

Haloween and big cats

Heres the latest batch

Including a wee haloween treat :o) Jack Skellington from nighmare before christmas

He is for the NFEST August challange

He was fun to make but there are some really great other peices out there so I dont think he will do to great

I also spent a bit of time reshoting some other fotos, this, I think, is much better than before.

As he is a panda, and a teeny one at that (less than 2 inches tall) I thought that I would look cute on some of my chineese dishes. so I sat him infront and balanced him on some chopsticks. I think this gave him a bit more cheek :o)

Hopefully other people will think so too. I have never really done photography and so I am trying to learn all the time

Didnt manage to get a Friday Feature this week as I didnt give people enough time to reply to my questions but hopefully soon I will have that up and running.

It will be fun to feature other peoples work a bit more. Makes this more interesting than just looking at my stuff all the time!
